Community Legal Support
Our Work to Provide Community Legal Support
The work we do at Indiana Justice Project is informed by the needs of the community. This may include providing direct legal advice, counsel, and representation to community groups. This will include working with groups to understand community needs through the lens of historic and racial injustice. As IJP grows and expands, we expect this work may include the following:
Providing legal education outreach to community groups and stakeholders.
Working with neighborhood housing groups to address substandard housing conditions.
Partnering with experts in environmental health to address health hazards.
